Alex B. Royes Since March of 2006, Pastor Royes has served as the pastor of the Macedonia Seventh-day Adventist Church. Pastor Royes has always been involved in Youth Ministry, The Pathfinder Club, and Men’s Groups at his local church while growing up and while at school in Oakwood College and Andrews University. While attending the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary (3 years) he was the Associate Pastor of the campus-based New Life Church. Pastor Royes has a desire to see all come to a saving personal knowledge of Christ.  He also has a heart for “young people.” He seeks to help the youth experience God in a way that allows them to be authentically Christian, while allowing them to “keep it real” with who they are. Pastor Royes believes in the power of prayer and the providential leadings of the hand of God.  He lives with the constant expectancy that God is going to do great things. He is the husband of one wife, married to the lovely former Shannon Cherry whom he met at Oakwood College.  Pastor Royes describes Shannon as his “best friend and greatest supporter.”  She feels the same about him.  Their first child, Ian David, was born in December of 2004.  We welcome the Royes family to Macedonia.
