AMACHI

AMACHI is a mentoring program that reaches out to the children of incarcerated parents. It was founded by former Philadelphia Mayor W. Wilson Goode. The ministry requires that potential mentors go through criminal background and child abuse clearances. The time requirement is one hour per week for 52 weeks, or one year.
