Meet our Ushers

The friendly helpful people of the Usher Ministry play a vital role in the process of bringing people to Christ at Macedonia Seventh-Day Adventist Church. First impressions are very important and the experiences that our guests have before they hear the Pastor’s message plays a big part in how receptive their hearts will be to the gospel of Christ.

The purpose of the Usher Ministry is to serve The Lord by:

  • Meeting and greeting guests attending worship services at Macedonia Seventh-Day Adventist Church;
  • Providing friendly assistance to guests during worship services;
  • Helping guests get acquainted with our worship service;
  • Providing believers with a way to become involved in an active ministry role at Macedonia Seventh-Day Adventist Church and to enjoy fellowship with each other.

The goal of the Usher Ministry is to provide a friendly and comfortable atmosphere so that church guests can focus on the message of Jesus Christ presented to them by the Pastors and Musicians. The ministries that compose the Usher Ministry are:

  • Greeter Ministry
  • Usher Ministry

All of these ministries work in concert to make sure that our guests and regular members feel welcome and enter our worship service with hearts prepared to hear what God chooses to impress on them. All friendly people with a heart to serve are welcome in the Usher Ministry.

If you are interested in serving as a Greeter or Usher, please contact Merle Murray at (302) 325 - 3386 or email macedoniaushers@yahoo.com

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:2

For some scripture on Doorkeepers read 1 Chronicles 9:17 - 32. Send the Usher Ministry an email letting us know what you think about the scripture.
